Two things go wrong constantly: the flex duct gets crushed or kinked where something has shifted or been pushed against it, and the termination under the skirting has no real airflow around it, so lint piles up in a spot nobody ever looks at. We pull the skirting panel, check the run end to end, and clear it from both directions rather than just blowing air down from the laundry closet.

How soon can someone get out here?

Usually within a few days for a standard booking. Vista is compact enough that we can group jobs by area, so if you're flexible on the time window it's often faster. The one thing that stretches it out is roof work on the hillside two-stories — those take a longer slot and we schedule them for mornings, so there's less availability for them on any given day.

What does cleaning cost around here?

It depends almost entirely on which kind of Vista house you're in. The 1950s-70s ranch tracts with laundry in the garage corner and a short sidewall vent are the simplest job on the board — straight shot, ground level, in and out. Manufactured homes run a bit differently because we're working under the floor and often removing a skirting panel to reach the termination. The 1980s-2000s hillside two-stories with upstairs laundry running to a roof cap cost the most, because that's a long vertical run plus roof access. Damaged flex duct or a bird-blocked roof cap is a separate repair, and we tell you before we touch it.

Do you ever do same-day?

Sometimes, when a cancellation opens up or we already have a truck working your side of Vista. Call and ask — we'll tell you straight whether it's realistic that day instead of stringing you along.
